Not to injure the cultural sentiments and bigwigs like Dr Chidananda Murthy, historian of Karnataka, Kannada and culture department letter from Jagadish Shettar (when he was not chief minister of state) made producer Santosh, Krishna and Shanker to stop further digging on the title ‘Hakka Bukka’ and change it to ‘Akka Pakka’.

The characters of Harikrishna – Ravishanker a deaf and Bhuvanaka – Tabla Naani a blind remain the same. Tabla Nani is playing blind again in this film. Ravishanker shot in to fame from comedy television serials to hero in Kannada cinema today is deaf in the film.
